Direct Relief is a nonprofit organization in California, founded by William Zimdin in 1945. 

Zimdin is an Estonian immigrant and a successful business man. He started sending many relief parcels to their relatives, families, friends and former employees to help them after world war 2.

Goal of the Direct Relief

As we all know, Direct Relief is one of the biggest charity organization in California, it is providing medical assistance in all 50 states of United states and in 70 countries all over the world. The mission of the Direct Relief is to improve the health and life of people affected by poverty and emergency situations. 

Direct Relief gives assistance to people and communities without regard to religious beliefs, politics or ethnic identities.
